The Social Curriculum

Education is the rule at Tulane, but education occurs in more ways that lectures and textbooks. Once again, we believe that requisite for being a great physician is being a great person. Personal development does not occur as the default… left without nurturing, the personality and soul begin to atrophy. This is the reason that the Tulane team has developed a rich social curriculum…. A curriculum where team members find common interests and develop those interests in each other.

The Tulane Social Calendar

In addition to the
412 festivals in the New Orleans areas, Tulane has a social calendar all of its own…below are only a few of the organized events. In addition to those below, Tulane Medicine hosts two book clubs, a wine tasting club (In Vino Wavetas), and multiple other special interest clubs.
